Risa Weinstock, Executive Director & General Counsel of The Animal Care Centers of NYC ("ACC") made an announcement at a public meeting on June 14, 2014 that "No-Kill is on track for 2015." With just 3 months left to 2015 we demand that this promise be kept. Killing healthy and redeemable animals for space, time and shelter-generated diseases is not a valid excuse to kill, violates the ACC's tax-exempt charitable status and defies the true meaning of the concept of euthanasia: "The merciful killing of sick or injured animals beyond redemption." The homeless animals the ACC is killing do not meet this criteria.

Bearing witness to senseless murder on a daily basis is despairing and defies the will of the people tht care about NYC's homeless animals and U.S. humane laws.

WE DEMAND THAT THE ANIMAL CARE CENTERS OF NYC BECOME NO-KILL NOW!!!
