Vanilla WoW is undoubtedly one of the best games ever made. Hundreds of thousands of gamers have been playing it on both official and private servers for the last 20 years. The Vanilla WoW formula is time tested and it has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that people enjoy it and have the desire to play it as it was with no changes.

To the passionate few Vanilla WoW enjoyers left, the time is now to come together. This is not just A game to us, it is THE game of our generation. We like playing on servers with an authentic Vanilla meta with no changes and when Activision Blizzard launched Classic Era, it was promised to serve as a time capsule to help preserve the game as it was. 

If changes are to be made, Seasonal servers such as Season of Mastery and Season of Discovery are the servers where these should be made not Classic Era. 

These recent PERMANENT changes to Classic Era including Warchief's Blessing for the Alliance and Druids being able to train Polearms are an outrageous violation of trust. How can Blizzard just lackadaisically change the meta and aesthetic of the best version of the game without any sort of due process or polling of the community. These changes that they've implemented on Classic Era are not temporary they are now an official part of Vanilla WoW moving forward and will impact existing servers and future Fresh servers. Futhermore, Blizzard has implemented modern UI elements into Classic Era such as a new guild tab with voice chat enabled by default. This UI makes it so there is a 1 second delay with guild chat when you type a message and overall creates a worse experience for players that is not authentic to original Vanilla WoW.

Players were given the choice before TBC Classic launched to pay a fee to preserve their characters on the new Classic Era realms "JUST AS IT WAS as of the last day before the patch or continue on into Burning Crusade Classic (see source: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/news/23666981/playing-ahead-making-choices-in-wow-classic

 

 

 

 

We the people demand Activision Blizzard honor the initial promise that was made to us, and immediately revert Vanilla WoW Classic Era back to its original design with no changes other than Chronoboon and never attempt to change Classic Era servers again.
