Amalfi Club PR campaign continues, however still no DA lodged says Council

The Amalfi Club has stepped up the media campaign over the past couple of weeks, and you may have even seen me very briefly on Channel 7's 6pm news on Sunday.

Despite the Amalfi Club manager saying for the past two weeks that a Development Application will be lodged any day now, Waverley Council confirmed that as of yesterday nothing has been received.

Waverley Council has not received a Development Application (DA) for the Amalfi Beach Club proposal.

Bondi Beach is Crown Land and therefore landowner’s consent from the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces is required prior to any DA being determined.

We will continue to keep the community informed of any updates."

Given that the proposal seems to be changing daily, I have slightly amended the last bullet point of the petition to reflect that.  It doesn't in anyway change the sentiment of the petition.
