Menstrual products are an annoying product for women, especially with the stigma around them. In Canada, these products were taxed as a luxury item until 2015.

The stigma around menstruation is especially difficult in high school. I've experienced first hand that it's embarrassing when you have to bring your entire backpack to the restroom because you're on the other side of school and the one restroom with free menstrual products is on the other. This is where the WRDSB can come in.

Instead of picking and choosing certain bathrooms where to make these essential items free, as well as only putting them in secondary schools, they should go the way of the TDSB and put a dispenser in every bathroom in elementary and secondary schools. Let's face it, some students don't have that 25 cents, especially if their period comes unexpectedly. 

I believe that people who menstruate deserve better.
