The construction of the Nairobi expressway is a welcome move to decongest the city of Nairobi. However, it comes with a myriad of problems to the residents along the route. One of them was disruption of water supply. On Thursday 14th April 2022, the main water pipeline was reconnected. However, the liquid that was supplied to our houses was not water, but raw sewerage mixed with soil and debris. Now our water tanks and taps are contaminated, needing thorough cleaning, but at whose cost in this harsh economic reality? Please sign this petition to enable us get justice from the Government/ Ministry concerned/ NMS /NEMA /KENHA to help us avert this major public health and financial crisis. This Petition is signed by the residents of Nairobi County, especially those residing in South B Plainsview Phase V Estate. We are seeking the intervention of the Government MDAs to:

1. Stop pumping contaminated water to our residences.

2. Compensate us for the loss of contaminated water we had to pour out

3. Compensate us to clean out our water tanks and taps.

4. Necessary action be taken against the parties involved in this public health outage.
