Since the "Kush Gods" have been in Washington D.C. people don't have to go in back alleys, or sneak and meet for a marijuana exchange! They've brought a safe and calming environment to marijuana in the inner city. It's legal to give away, smoke, grow, and possess two ounces of marijuana in Washington D.C. The "Kush Gods" ask people to donate to there company and they hand out free edibles. The donations go towards keeping the company alive and providing medicine to Cancer, Epilepsy, and War vets for free who need and prefer marijuana for medicinal purposes. With the way the laws are set up in D.C. this is one of the only places where these patients can receive this medicine for free, which makes this petition very huge for the future of how we look at medicine and marijuana! Congress passed Initiative 71 in February 2015. It allows you to trade marijuana or give it away. The Metropolitan Police Department did an investigation on "Kush Gods" and arrested two members for distribution charges. We need signatures from people that would like for this service to continue and ask for the Metropolitan Police Department to drop these charges on a company that has clearly helped and educated the city more than it has harmed it!
