COS Washington County 2nd Amendement Sanctuary County

COS Washington County 2nd Amendement Sanctuary County
The Issue
- WASHINGTON COUNTY SIGNATURES ONLY PLEASE...
- Washington County Fairgrounds, Thursday,, April 8th 7-8 pm meeting. Washington County Committee of Safety (COS) with Ohio State Jural Assembly and National Liberty Alliance have been working to secure Washington County as a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County in a bipartisan effort. We are asking for your help to share this petition to all Ohioans in Washington County. We understand that OUR Founding Fathers established the 2nd Amendment as stated in the Bill of Rights and stated in Ohio and US Constitution giving us the right to keep and bare arms and it shall not be enfringed upon. We would like to invite you to stand with us to stop the recent unconstitutional steps taken by our Government with HB 127 and Bidens threat of EOs. We must defend our God given right to keep and bear arms. We feel that now is the time to move forward with this action. Please share and help us get the word out as we gather as many signatures both online and paper petitions for our resolution presentation to our County Commissioners approaching soon. We will be gathering signatures thru Thursday, April 8th for our next in person meeting. We are ready to present our resolution to Washington County Commisioners and Prosecuting Attorney. Please join us on Telegram under Washington County Chat page.

Benefits of a 2A Sanctuary
•By signing the Resolution the Washington County Commissioners fully affirm their support of the rights of law-abiding Ohioans to keep and bear arms and stand firm against any law or ordinance on any level of government to remove that right from any law abiding Ohioan without due process.
•The Washington County Commissioners will not authorize any county official to expend county funds for the purpose of enforcing illegal and or unconstitutional laws or ordinances that seek to limit a law abiding Ohioan’s right to keep and bear arms.
•The execution of the Resolution means the Washington County Board of Commissioners believe the best way to prevent gun violence is to address the growing mental health crisis, hold those accountable who use a political agenda to disarm law abiding Ohioans, and the enforcement of already existing criminal laws that aim to stop violence and not to limit the unalienable rights of law-abiding Ohioans.
•The Commissioners Board does hereby pledge not to appropriate funds, resources, employees, or agencies to initiate unconstitutional seizures in unincorporated Washington County, Ohio.
•The Board will demand that the state and national legislature cease and desist any further actions restricting the Second Amendment rights of Ohioans and instead address the real and fundamental challenges in our communities.
