One of the bands that always seems to speak to the people, times, and feelings of the state of America, and the world, was R.E.M. The world is in a tough spot right now. Everyone is having to be creative in their endeavors to make ends meet. This nation is scared and needs mental assurance. Music has always been the best cure for that. This petition is to encourage the band, their influencers, management, etc., that this is absolutely the right time for their hiatus to be over. Whether it is a short tour, benefit concert, festival appearance, or even new music, it would definitely help the healing that this country will need after the current Corona virus crisis subsides. Help me push this out to the world,  and tug on the bands ears, heart strings, or whatever it takes, for them to hear us.
