In January 2019, "Gotham" aired new episodes of its fifth, and sadly final, season with 12 all-new episodes.  The crew of the show had originally envisioned the series lasting up to at least seven seasons, but the Fox network decided to only order 10 new episodes, before eventually raising the number to 12, and make the fifth season the last.  With the final season of "Gotham" called "The Beginning" and having a 10 year time jump into the future, the show is using the finale as a potential pilot for a new series with the story of Batman and his rogues gallery.  We, the fans, do not want to see "Gotham" end this early after its fifth season concludes and we would love to see another network, such as the CW or NBC, or to have the Fox network re-order the show as a "Batman" spin-off/TV series with the entire cast and crew that is a direct continuation from the finale of "Gotham".  If another network doesn't renew "Gotham", then why not add the show to HBO Max?  Whatever happens, we, the fans, would love to see the entire cast and crew stay on and continue to make more new episodes of this brilliant TV series for Batman fans to watch and enjoy.  "Gotham" may have ended, but the chance to start anew with a "Batman" spin-off TV series would be amazing.
