Warner Bros has damaged the DC brand by putting out TERRIBLE content. They are losing so much money. It clearly shows that they don't have faith in the brand. The best decision is to sell DC to a company that cares, has faith in the DC brand and doesn't need to worry about financial decline, like Apple or Amazon. Also the reason why there is so much divisiveness within the DC Fandom (when it comes to movies) is because Warner Bros caused that to happen and did nothing about it. Also Warner Bros is NOTORIOUS for screwing over the director's visions for example:

. Zack Snyder with BVS, Justice League and the rest of his vision

. Christopher Nolan with WB caring more about HBO MAX than cinema

. David Ayer with his Suicide Squad movie

. James Wan with Aquaman 2 if WB decides to delay the movie

. Patty Jenkins with Wonder Woman 3 etc.

P.S. Apple and Amazon are just examples. Universal is another example.

Also if Warner Bros does sell DC, it will not only help DC but also make Warner Bros more profitable. It's a win-win opportunity.
