In Action Comics #327 from 1965, Superman fan B.L. Bogema Jr. wrote DC Editorial a letter describing Superman's super-energy and what he would need to consume to accomplish his feats. Mr. Bogema Jr.'s answer to this question was 1,750 tons of peanut butter (or 40 boxcars worth). 

Ending his letter, he asks for DC to please show Superman consuming this exorbitant amount of peanut butter --but they never did.

Through this petition, fans of DC Comics, Superman. and peanut butter request that at least one scene in the upcoming feature film Superman: Legacy by James Gunn depicts Superman (played by David Corenswet) consuming a large amount of peanut butter. 

It is preferable if it is 40 boxcars, but a couple of tubs would suffice.
