Warner Bros., Stop Plastering.

Warner Bros., Stop Plastering.
The Issue
Warner Bros. has been making movies since 1923 and television shows since 1955, most notably "Superman", "Batman", "Lethal Weapon", "Casablanca", "ER", "The West Wing", "Friends", "Family Matters" and "Full House", among others.
However, for the last two decades, Warner Bros. has been frequently plastering these older logos with the 1998-2022 Warner Bros. Pictures logo on film and the 2001-2021 Warner Bros. Television logo on television shows, and that needs to stop. The same can even said when the 2017 Warner Bros. Television logo had plastered the old static shield logos on newer releases of "Babylon 5", and that too needs to stop.
The old Warner Bros. "Big W" logo lasted 11 years from 1973 to 1984, and the old Warner Bros. static shield logo lasted fourteen years from 1984 to 1998, before the CGI shield logo from 1998 to 2022, but the 2021 and 2023 CGI shield updates escaped plastering. Both logos were so iconic.
The same can even be said for the 75 Years logo (the earlier form of the 1998 Warner Bros. logo, used at the start of films, and as a static image at the end of television shows) and the 2005 Warner Bros. Television "50 Years of Quality" logo, as well as the short-lived Kinney and WCI shields that started films and ended television shows many years ago.
The same can also even said for the 1998 Warner Bros. Family Entertainment logo, which plastered the old 1993 Warner Bros. Family Entertainment logo on newer releases of family material, and the 2003 Warner Bros. Animation logo, which had plastered the 1995 and 2001 Warner Bros. Television Animation logos (the latter an earlier version of the 2003 Warner Bros. Animation logo) on newer releases of animated series.
Warner Bros. had also plastered these Lorimar, Lorimar-Telepictures and National General Corporation logos on the acquired film and television libraries, as well as the 1993 Columbia Pictures logo on 1994-1998 Castle Rock Entertainment films. We need to get Warner Bros. to stop plastering these logos on all future releases of classic Warner Bros. movies and television shows.
