Wanted FSD Feature - "Lane Hold"

Wanted FSD Feature - "Lane Hold"

Wanted FSD Feature - "Lane Hold"
There is one feature that would be really useful in FSD and that is a "Lane Hold" toggle switch that comes up when FSD is activated. There are times when you want to be in FSD but not switching lanes all of the time, or you want to be in a lane for a certain reason. The speed profiles do not guarantee you will be in a certain lane (hurry-left, chill-right). Switching lanes is a time when many accidents occur, and staying put would be safer. One example is a situation of FSD switching lanes on a freeway (unnecessarily) into a lane that another car was switching into at the same time. I took control and avoided a nasty accident going 75 MPH. I cannot even use FSD on freeways because of constant lane changing. Why are people paying for a feature they cannot use? There are times when it switches to a lane that has more traffic than the current lane. There are times when it inexplicably changes lanes, and then changes lanes back a few seconds later. Sometimes you just want to relax and not worry about what FSD will do next and have some predictability. For people that use Autosteer this is automatic. It stays put unless you switch the "Navigate on Autopilot" (NOA) toggle on. So why not use Autosteer? Because Autosteer is not the same system as FSD which is more refined. Also people don't want to switch back and forth between the two. This is a simple toggle switch in the same place NOA is located (See rendering.) Even if someone doesn't want to use it, they don't have to. This is just an OPTION. And options are helpful for consumers with different needs. Tesla are you listening?
