On a number of occasions I have seen very near accidents with children in our neighbourhood - including one with myself and two little girls on the way to school. Taybridge road acts as a thoroughfare for Clapham Common and Lavender Hill, which is fine in principal, but as most parents will know it is a nightmare to try and cross at busy times.  I also do not understand why we don't have a zebra crossing directly outside the school gates on Wix's lane. Drivers drive TOO FAST on ALL these streets. WE NEED MORE SPEED LIMIT SIGNS, GUARD RAILS & MORE SCHOOL CROSSING ALERTS. We have a couple of small signs (one is even upside down) but nothing that is really alerting them. THE COUNCIL NEEDS TO CHANGE THIS TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN. I don't want any casualties do you?
