We launched a petition this morning to demand that our elected leaders step up to defend the safety of residents in the face of dangerous overdevelopment at Cooper and Elm Street--development that was supported by Ward 9 City Councilor, Robert Logan, who won't meet with constituents but took campaign cash from the developers.
In less than twelve hours nearly 150 fellow Waltham citizens have signed this petition. Thank you for doing your part to make this happen.
We would like to deliver a petition with 400 signatures to the city council at their meeting on Monday, October 23.
Can you help us reach that goal by reaching out directly to two people you know in Waltham tonight and sharing this petition with them?
The combined effect of this action, taken along with 100 fellow residents, will send a profound message that the public, not dangerous developers, should come first.
If you wish to join us in delivering this petition, please send us an e-mail and we’ll reply with details.
Most importantly, thank you for helping return the voice of citizens to the forefront of this important conversation.
