Santa’s Enchanted Forest continues to LIE about the mistreatment of ponies at their park. On 12/28 the park stated that each pony works a maximum of 2 hours per night. I knew this was not true, so I visited the park last night (1/1/17) and documented with photos and videos the same 8 ponies working from 5pm-10pm on with NO BREAK. Just after 10pm I notified park director Buddy Cormican that the horses had worked far beyond their 2 hours per night. He visited the pony rides within a few moments and spoke to the two men operating it. He then left and the pony rides CONTINUED until MIDNIGHT, meaning horses worked their full 6-7 hours straight as usual. The pony exhibitor herself refused to acknowledge that the horses had been working longer than 2 hours, despite photos, videos and witnesses to this fact. Santa's Enchanted Forest clearly is not willing or able to operate pony rides safely or humanely and should therefore STOP offering pony rides immediately. Your continued comments and reviews are crucial right now. If enough people complain about this cruelty they will end this practice.
