Allow the Robin Hood Pontefract to keep the trellis and plants erected at the side.

Allow the Robin Hood Pontefract to keep the trellis and plants erected at the side.
The Issue
The owners of the Robin Hood Pontefract have turned, what was, an ugly piece of concrete, strewn with litter, into a useable space that greatly compliments the surrounding area. The scaffolding trellis may not look appealing to some at present, however, once the plants have become established (which they are well on their way to being), the area will look beautiful. We should be encouraging more green spaces in and around Pontefract to tackle pollution and promote wellbeing. It makes for a much more welcoming landscape for people visiting the town from Wakefield, the A1 and Knottingley. Many local residents are in favour of the work done by the owners and feel that the council should reverse their decision to remove it. Our local businesses need your support more than ever to stay afloat and the beautiful greenery is definitely an improvement and an attraction to customers.
