Rebate for Reusable Nappies

Are you sick of a smelly, overflowing general waste bin full of dirty nappies?

Would you be interested in switching to Modern Cloth Nappies but are hesitant about start up costs?

Then we need your help!

Sign our petition to show your support requesting Wagga Wagga City Council provide a rebate for residents that have purchased Cloth Nappies.

Modern cloth nappies are starting to get the air time they deserve, with more Local Councils recognising the many benefits of reusable cloth nappies!

If you are a seasoned cloth nappy researcher, you will understand that there is a lot of money to be saved long term by choosing reusable baby nappies. Buying disposable nappies for 2.5 years (the average age a child will toilet train out of nappies) will cost up to $3000 and can far outweigh the cost of using Modern cloth nappies.

A number of Local Councils have identified the benefit of encouraging their residents to make the switch – it is Local Councils who have to pay, per tonne, for the amount of waste sent to landfills they manage.  If they can reduce that waste amount, then it costs less for them and will make their landfill last even longer.

Albury City Council, Greater Hume Shire and Federation Council have joined forces to offer rebates, WWCC should do it too!
