Dear Vaping Store Owner, Employee, and Customer:

 

On July 11, 2023 at 6:30pm, the Golden City Council will vote on first reading to ban flavored vaping products.  

 

We need your support!

 

Can you attend in-person and testify for two or three minutes about your opposition to flavored vaping bans?  

 

Even if you do not live in Golden or have a store in Golden, we need to stand together to prevent this ban!

Once you arrive, just sign up to testify. 

 

During your testimony, emphasize the following key points:

 

·       Vaping saves adult lives.

·       Small vaping stores are not Big Tobacco.

·       Small vaping stores want to be treated like marijuana stores and regulated – not banned.

·       Prohibition has never worked (alcohol for example).

·       Five Golden stores will go bankrupt and dozens of employees will lose their jobs in 30 days if the flavor ban is enacted.

·       Pass a 21-and-over amendment, which means only small vaping stores that allow customers 21 years of age and older, can sell vaping products.
