The Issue

WELCOME TO
Voices for the Elderly in Long Term Care in Nova Scotia.

This was created for one reason:

To ensure the voices of seniors, residents, and families across Nova Scotia are heard during one of the most difficult periods facing long-term care in our province.

Families are watching loved ones experience:
• reduced care routines
• cancelled activities and social interaction
• increased stress and confusion for dementia patients
• staffing pressures and service disruptions
• declining quality of life inside facilities already under strain

While governments, unions, and operators continue negotiations, seniors and vulnerable residents are the ones living with the daily impact.

We believe:
• frontline workers deserve fairness and respect
• families deserve transparency and accountability
• and most importantly, seniors deserve dignity, stability, compassionate care, and urgent solutions

This is not an anti-worker group.
This is not a political attack group.

This is a resident-first advocacy movement focused on awareness, respectful dialogue, accountability, and urgent resolution.

Today, we are asking families, caregivers, healthcare workers, and concerned Nova Scotians to stand together and support our petition calling for immediate action and resident-focused solutions in long-term care across Nova Scotia.

PLEASE:
✔ Sign the petition

✔ Invite other families and caregivers
✔ Share respectful experiences and concerns
✔ Help us grow a united provincial voice for seniors in care

Our seniors built this province.
They should never be forgotten in the middle of a prolonged dispute.

Together, we can make their voices heard.
