Tell Cellular Providers To Bring Google Nexus Phones To South Africa

Google Inc. has, over the years, built up a reputation for developing truly great smartphones, under its Nexus brand.

The company's flagship line of devices has proven that performance can come at an affordable price, and has given consumers the opportunity to experience stock (vanilla) Android, without third-party software layered on top.
The South African Orange store ranked the Nexus 5 as one of its best selling mobile devices.
Cellular providers like Vodacom, Cell C, and MTN have, despite the demand in South Africa, decided throughout numerous product cycles not to offer Nexus phones to the South African market for contracts or upfront purchase.
A simple check of online forums and social media shows that there are many consumers in South Africa, and indeed around the world, who would rather buy a Nexus phone than one from a competing brand, for a variety of reasons, including price, design, specifications, and software. Many of these individuals have imported previous Nexus phones, at great cost, into South Africa, as it has been the only way to buy them.
A new Nexus phone (presumed to be called the 5X and manufactured by LG) is set to be revealed at an event on the 29th of September 2015, and released in numerous countries around the world shortly after that.
Send a message to South African cellular providers, saying that consumers in South Africa are just as excited about the new Nexus device, and deserve the same opportunity to purchase it that consumers overseas have.
Signatures for this petition will be shown directly to those in procurement departments at major South African cellular providers, who have the power to decide which phones enter the country.
Show that there is demand so that cellular providers bring future Nexus devices to South Africa.
