Help citizens receive their unemployment benefits after months of waiting

The Issue

It’s thousands of people in Virginia who lost homes, jobs, cars because the Virginia employment commission are the worst ranked state on reviewing claims. People shouldn’t be waiting months for a payment, there are people that really need the money and the VEC are playing with peoples money, future, jobs and it’s unacceptable. We can come to a solution where they just give us the money plus more because of the months that we have waited. It’s 2021 and people waiting on a deputy’s decision still hasn’t received anything, not even an update.
