Merry Christmas, Everyone!
Christmas Eve is here and I would like to wish you all a very happy holiday season! The year 2019 has been an eventful one and it looks like the legislature and Governor are poised to clear the way for Kelly Anne to have a chance to finally come home. She will still have to make it through the parole board, but it is a far better chance than she would have had under the current law. We continue to fight for clemency as well because it is more certain than applying for parole.
Regardless, I will continue to fight for Kelly Anne until the day that she is re-united with her family. She more than deserves to come home after a quarter of a century behind steel and concrete. She has earned that privilege through a lot of hard work and the pursuit of her education and vocational training. The legislature will convene on January 7th of 2020 and I will keep you posted of any changes.
In the meanwhile, enjoy your friends and family and carry the spirit of Christmas in your heart all year ‘round. May the holidays find you happy, blessed, and content! And if you find some spare quiet time, say a prayer for Kelly’s release. ;-)
God bless,
Bill
