I am headed to the House subcommittee on criminal law to support SB1152. If passed, it will eliminate juvenile life without parole in Virginia. We won in the Senate and now we must do battle in the house. Much of our work is already done. Virginia's Commonwealth's Attorney's support the bill, the Attorney General supports the bill, and it seems that the Republican's are also falling into line in the House. But nothing is certain. As in the Senate, I will speak to the House in support of this measure. I ask you to stand with Kelly in spirit and to say a prayer for her and for this measure to pass the subcommittee.
