VHSL was given the ok by Governor Northam  to start sports this December. That is all good and well unless you play lacrosse. The rules and contact is kept the same in sports like wrestling and football but you look at lacrosse that has been played all summer and fall and they changed the game completely. They took away basic fundamentals of the game for no reason and labeled it as “ a corona change” lacrosse already lost our season last year and they are ruining the game this season. This is not the game the ancestors created. Nor how they would want us to play. There is less contact in lacrosse than there is in wrestling where your breathing on each other and sweating on each other and football where there is contact every play. Just because those sports make more money it is not equitable not fair to change lacrosse.
