We unfortunately, had to say goodbye to our puppy she had so much life to live being she was only 1 year 2 months this baby was Soo strong she fought Soo hard to be here with us. After she spent a week in late November in ICU. They said we can try fluids, meds, but there is NOTHING at all we can do and she only has 5 days to live. She surpassed that and lived 20 days. Well the normal level for dogs kidney is level 1.48 , she was a shocking 10! The Dr was floored! He sent us immediately to a 24/7 Animal hospital/ICU when we took her to the ICU, went up to 11 next day and a week later a 4 when we brought her home. They said they couldn't treat her anymore and said she only has days to live. We didn't give up on her! We did the IV and 8 meds daily exactly what was prescribed by the ICU. When we noticed a change and she was about to die , we knew something was up. The IV MEDS It was helping, she would have her good and bad days, her personality came back, she was really Strong and Brave she was THE sweetest puppy and wouldn't even hurt a fly probably the nicest dog we have ever owned- everyone adored her in public and in our community bc she was Soo friendly and loved her cuddles! In Honor of Lexi-Stormy, We ask that you remind them (link below) and mention LEXI STORMY and email (link below) the Foundation for Renal Dysplasia Cairn Terrier (The Foundation of the Cairn Terrier Club of America (the Foundation)based in Pennsylvania . ) - to push them to find a CURE, OR KIDNEY TRANSPLANTS we weren't left with ANY options just that IV and meds with death soon after.  We do not want any more puppies/families suffering from this. We do not wish this on anyone. Breeders should be aware of this and have their dogs ultrasound / blood work done to their bloodline to keep puppies from getting this and dying. Her breeder refused to get the mom, dad, 9 siblings tested!  This is called Acute Renal Dysplasia --abnormalities from utero- birth defect that causes kidney failure/fatal/ her last days we knew it was the end bc she was suffering all night / day of seizures that's when we made that really tough call and decided as a family, it was time to let our sweet baby girl go 😭 💔😔 fly high sweet LEXI-STORMY we will always remember you bringing so much joy in our lives even though it was such a short time we fell in love🕊️we did everything we could to help you and we're never going to give up! She leaves behind 9 siblings, mom and dad,
Our family- the 6 of us, her sister Bella Paris and 2 cats Lucy & Kiki.

We pray for Justice 🙏😇🩷 for Lexi Stormy !! We informed American Kennel Club that the breeder is still breeding although she knows what we've been through with Lexi having this genetic birth defect called Renal Dysplasia! & We have been Keeping her updated. She refuses to get Lexi Stormy' parents tested and Lexi Stormy' siblings when it's their bloodline!  So she's breeding them with this knowledge it's not fair to the puppies and the families that both suffer! 💔
