Violence against Singaporeans: State refuse to release evidence at all costs.

Violence against Singaporeans: State refuse to release evidence at all costs.
The Issue
Security guards from Aetos during brutally attacked me intentionally over an argument caused by a misunderstanding while I was volunteering my time at the Institute of mental health. I happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. The Security guards attacked me while unprovoked probably without a valid cause and broke my arm and thumb. The brutal attack has left me a broken arm and thumb that is still painful to this day and limits many of my day-to-day activities. The security company and hospital, due to their unfair advantage in withholding footage of the attack , has ignored all phone calls and refused to bear any responsibility. This campaign is to raise adequate funds to kickstart legal action against security company and the hospital. Many channels of help such as police investigation legal aid has not been made available to me probably due to the involvement of public entities. The hospital and the police also refuse to release CCTV footage that my entire case depend on hoping to sweep it under the rug. Public interests especially that of government-related institutions always triumph the little guy's interests in Singapore. Mps like Goh Chok Tong and Fatimah Lateef would not help beyond writing a letter. The story was not only underreported by basically misreported by the state controlled media. The injustice which is a result of Singapore's intransparent press and restrictive access to legal representation fills me with rage. Hope by taking legal action I will be able to set a precedent in stopping similar events from happening. I welcome all journalists to take up my story. While I do have extensive proof of my injuries. The most important piece is still withheld by the security company, the hospital and the police who have tried to persuade me to drop the case and move on instead of providing any assistance or invesitgations. While i was at the wrong place at a wrong time, what shocks me is the lack of legal recourse or responsibility of the authorities and the administrators of the hospital in righting a wrong. I noticed many government agencies and public institutions, unless there is strong public pressure, they simply turn a blind eye to most complaints feedback, even serious blindspots and mistakes. I haven't got a response for more than a year despite several calls, emails and visits.
