Allow the ‘ Silent Soldiers ‘ to be heard in Brockenhurst

The Issue

After a recent vote by Brockenhurst Parish Councillors, they have denied our village the honour of having the ‘ Silent Soldiers ‘ . These have been placed in many other villages and towns to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the 1st World War and to show our respect to all the men and women who fought there. The reason being, ‘ the carrying of a rifle may be offending ‘.

Please helps us by signing this petition and bringing these Soldiers home.
