Dear supporters,

A huge thank you to everyone who signed, shared, donated, wrote submissions, attended meetings, or otherwise helped stop the proposed data centre near the river foreshore.

Together, we were successful. The data centre proposal has been withdrawn.

But the broader issue remains. Inappropriate development along the river foreshore could still return in another form, and our community now wants to work with the City of Swan to help ensure better planning decisions are made in future.

We still have unpaid campaign expenses, including legal fees of more than $10,000, and we will need further professional advice as the process continues.

If every signatory contributed even a few dollars, it would make a real difference — helping clear the debt and build a community fund to protect the river foreshore from unsuitable development.
