We are starting to get replies from State and Federal Health ministers who think Cyberknife is the same as Linear Accelerators. 1 hospital just bought 6 Linear accelerators. The linear accelerator is the technology that Cyberknife was based on (20 years ago!) However with the robotic arm and Space Shuttle technology involved in Cyberknife this makes Cyberknife more effective, more versatile and able to treat many cancers, including "inoperable" ones that a traditional Linear Accelerator is incapable of. All of the Health ministers are responding saying we already have the best treatments in Australia. The lack of current information is frightening.
