Australian cricket legend Allan Border has backed a growing campaign to replace the iconic Gabba stadium in Brisbane with a new state-of-the-art venue.

Border has called for a fresh start, repurposing the Gabba site and “I’d be knocking down the Gabba and building a new venue from scratch at Victoria Park,” Border has been quoted.
