Dear Supporters, 

This past week, an opinion piece by the owner of Tally-Ho Carriage Tours was published in the Times Colonist which contained substantial lies against our peaceful activists. 

We have always prided ourselves on being respectful and courteous with the carriage drivers. We stand peacefully with signs and invite reasonable discussion on the exploitation of horses on city streets. We can also back up our statements with evidence. 

Recent false allegations by the carriage operators show just what kind of industry we are up against. They are willing to create a hostile environment for peaceful demonstrators by creating stories that make their staff out to be victims when nothing could be further from the truth.

What is worse, the mainstream media are sharing these lies as if they are facts, when there is no evidence to support any of their claims. 

We will keep fighting for the horses, because that is what this is about. If they go low, we will always take the high road. 

Thank you for your continued support for banning horse carriages in Victoria.
