Currently, Vico Zeljkovic serves as the president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, his close family ties with Milorad Dodik, former president of the Republic of Srpska, pose a significant concern. Dodik has repeatedly denied the existence of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a sovereign state and refused to recognize July 11 as the memorial day of the Srebrenica Genocide, which is acknowledged by the United Nations. His public statements and social media posts have often been laced with hate speech directed towards Bosnia and Herzegovina and its fair citizens.

The role of president of the football association is not merely administrative—it's about embodying the spirit and values of our nation. We must ensure that the individuals in charge of our beloved sport are committed to fostering unity and promoting the positive image of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the world. It's essential to appoint someone with a proven track record in football and the ability to advocate for the development of our players and teams.
