Foreign Direct Investments in the Animation, Gaming and VFX Industry in India have been in place for more than 15 years, and the industry has developed tremendously in this phase. Many startup studios cater to the global and regional markets as well. 

But the major production facilities are saturated in the Western and Southern states of India. Despite being a regional content producer in the film business, West Bengal and its neighbouring states have struggled to generate interest in the animation and visual effects industries.

To gain exposure in the sector, talents from the eastern portions of India travel to the western and southern states. The goal of this petition is to widen the landscape. 

• State Administrations and Animation VFX Gaming industry studios must work together to change the current scenario. 
• In the Eastern States, job prospects in the industry must expand.
