Dear Government,

We've had enough. We are the citizens of the GREAT state of South Carolina. We have watched our children around this nation be confronted with some of the most evil acts imaginable.

That should never happen at school. Public schools have the opportunity to change this now. 

This is a very simple solution to a very serious problem. We know and love our local Veterans. These men and women served our country and sacrificed for us. They gave their all and they still have more to give. 

I can not imagine the terror that children face when they hear of their peers being shot down in the hallways of a place that is supposed to be secure. There is no amount of technology that can or will serve and protect the same way these Veterans will. 

This Memorial Day weekend, 2022, I am calling upon EVERY South Carolina Senator and Congressman to step up and enact the FREE law. 

FREE = FINAL RESPONSE to ENEMY ENGAGEMENT

We are tired of our children being in harms way. We demand the FREE law be enacted and it is very simple; our Veterans are trained (by YOU, the government), they need a purpose, and there's no better line of defense for these children more than a Veteran will give. Arm them, train them, and let them defend our babies.

With Veterans being offered these positions first, we know training costs will be minimum, if any at all, and we know they are ready to defend, have the situational awareness needed, response abilities needed, and it's a way we can give back to those men and women who gave so much to us.

We also demand you train and arm our teachers. We have had enough. STAND UP. DO THE RIGHT THING. There is NO amount of gun control that will stop these awful acts. Criminals DO NOT follow the law. We have gun laws in place and they intentionally ignore them...and always will. 

As the citizens of this state, we implore you to protect our children. There is no better option. We are not going to stand by and watch this continue. If we do not act, immediately, we are not only risking our Childrens' futures, we are also risking their very lives.
