I sent the petition today to Premier Tim Houston to see just how long it takes for him to pay attention and address the issue with me regarding what happened to my late husband in the Dartmouth General Hospial ICU department. If I don't hear from his office in a week, I will go to plan B.
Thank you to everyone that took the time to read the petition and signed it, shared it, promoted it so that everyone globally would see and read it. No veteran should have to be forced against their will to stay in a hospital. This is suppose to be a free country.
I have included photos of the abuse the hospital staff did to my late husband's arms. This should not ever happen to any Veteran/elder senior in any hospital by health care workers. As of today: 591 signed it, 16,136 viewed it, 179 shared it, 5 paid promoted it, $301.00 was contributed to it, and 14,701 purchased views to the petition, 95% (594) are from Promotion signatures, 4% (21) are from Facebook signatures, 1% (3) are signatures from Change.org email; this is just in a 3 month period. My own Municipal Councillor paid $25.00 to help promote the petition, because he believes something should be done about what happened to my husband in the hospital. I want to thank my Municipal Councillor-Mr. David Hendsbee for signing the Petition and promoting it with $25.00. Provincial MLAs, Federal MPs, and Senators for Nova Scotia are aware of this Petition and what happened to my husband and they are ignoring the issue of Veteran/Senior abuse within this hospital; shame on them. I am not finish with it as it is going in the right direction to get that inquiry it needs to get done. Let's have my late husband's voice heard loudly in the NEW YEAR-2025.
