The South Burlington city council is voting on a resolution on Monday June 8 at 6:25 pm requesting that the airport director apply for an available FAA grant for a noise monitoring and tracking system by the mid-June FAA deadline.

The Winooski City Council unanimously adopted an almost identical resolution last Monday. One Winooski city councilor said he had received over 50 emails asking for a yes vote, the most, he said, he had ever received on a city council matter.

Please encourage South Burlington city councilors to vote "yes" on the resolution.

Here are the email addresses of the 5 members of the SB City Council:  Helen Riehle 3 <hriehle@sburl.com>, Meaghan Emery <memery@sburl.com>, Tim Barritt <tbarritt@sburl.com>, Tom Chittenden <tchittenden@sburl.com>, Dave Kaufman <dkaufman@sburl.com>

No matter where you live you can also join the meeting and speak. Tell councilors why obtaining actual noise data is essential. Tell them about your pain, injury, or distress from your exposure to F-35 noise.

In South Burlington public comment is at each point on the agenda. Here is a link to the agenda from which you can click a link at item 4 to see the text of the resolution.

Here is how to join the meeting online to speak Interactive Online Meeting (audio & video): https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/570257957
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jimmy
