The Winooski City Council will be voting on a resolution for a noise monitoring and tracking system at BTV, funded by an FAA grant--if only the airport director will submit the application for the grant! The system would reveal the data about the extreme F-35 noise levels on public streets, at schools, and on airport grounds.
The Winooski city council resolution comes up for a vote on Monday, June 1. It "formally requests the the Director of BIA to apply for grant funding for a noise monitoring system by the mid-June 2020 deadline, using the cost established in the recent Request for Qualifications or another valid cost estimate."
