My husband Ben and I had a positive, productive meeting with Principal Todd Tyner of Mound School this morning. There has been great communication so far with all involved including the VUSD Risk Management Head , Eric Reynolds and Operations Manager, Rich Saint. We are confident the decision makers and experts in the necessary fields can create a plan to transition our fields to safe and sustainable play areas for our children. We have suggested an environmentally friendly landscape architect to draw up a plan, pest control experts to discuss the best way to exterminate all gophers and immediately follow with a preventative new cover. Be it netting or hard cement or rock layer to block gophers . If you know experts in any of these areas please send us referrals.
