Today’s picture is of an amazing sniffer dog being used by Staffordshire police, to sniff out cleverly hidden, highly dangerous, illegal e-cig’s and disposable vapes. In the picture the false kitchen cabinet could rise up from the floor, revealing the hidden stash of dangerous E-cigs and disposable vapes. 

Legal disposable vapes must not contain more than 2 millilitres of liquid which contains both nicotine and flavourings. The vapes that this amazing dog sniffed out, contained illegal vapes that with 18 millilitres of liquid. Equivalent to thousands of puffs  and someone smoking more than 100 cigarettes. 

As I revealed in previous updates of this petition, big-tobacco, who own most of the world-wide E-cig and vaping companies, are trying to scare our government into not to banning disposable single-use vapes, by claiming this will increase the illegal trade. This is complete nonsense as that trade is already so well established, on the back of the legal vapes companies. The “vaping is 95% safer than smoking” myth has sadly become the most powerful of marketing tools, for big-tobacco to target a new generation of children and under 18’s, into a life of nicotine addiction, which cigarettes smokers of earlier generations now know kills 50% of them.

Since June this year this petition has been viewed by 99,325 people.

So far, 4,238 have understood how vitally important it is to persuade our government to ban Disposable single-use vapes to protect the young.

New year is a time for us all to consider what we can do to make our world a safer, healthier and better place, I am appealing again to all those viewing and supporting this petition, to do all you can in 2024 to support this petition, to ban disposable single use vapes.

It only takes the good people of the world to do nothing for the bad guys to continue to exploit the poor, the weak and the vulnerable members of our society.
