Green MSP’s Gillian Mackay and Lorna Slater the Circular Economy minister are supporting the idea that Scotland could lead the way in banning completely single-use vapes, to protect our children from addiction, and our environment. The batteries in the single-use vapes could be recharged 500 times but are just dumped. The plastic elements could polute the environment for hundreds of years.

They revealed that 543,000 Scot’s are using Vapes and 9% of them are under 16 yrs of age, and 78,000 are under the age of 18. Legally you cannot buy these vaping products until 18, but no license is required to sell them, making it far too easy for our children to access them.
