You can fill in a separate survey for each of the pilot parks that you visited during the pilot period. I filled in the survey for Vanier Park, Kits Beach Old Grove of Trees and Volunteer Park.

VANIER PARK: This was a terrible choice for a pilot drinking project as it's on top of the duck ponds where wildlife live and roam. Fortunately, from my observations, Vanier Park did not catch on as a drinking zone. I did notice a few groups of picnickers on my occasional visit there over the summer, but there didn't seem to be more than usual. It's not a popular picnic spot. I must admit though I spent most of the summer ocean swimming at Jericho Beach so others may have noticed issues that I didn't.
KITS BEACH OLD GROVE: Again, I didn't visit the old grove much over the summer, but when I did I noticed that it was much noisier than usual, with large crowds of picnikers/drinkers, playing amplified music. It is no longer a quiet spot to picnic or sit in the shade amoung the trees and enjoy nature, although of course it's much busier in the summer.
The main area where people drink is east of Kits Pool, on the grassy area just south of Cornwall. It's close to takeout food and the concession stand and washrooms. It's already a party zone. That makes much more sense than in the quiet old grove of trees.
Illegal buskers constantly blasting illegal amplified music at Kits Beach have made the entire park a very unpleasant place to visit. On weekends we could hear the distorted sound on our balcony 8 blocks away. The off leash dogs don't help either.
VOLUNTEER PARK: I ran past Volunteer Park many times over the summer, primarily in the late afternoon and evening, along Point Grey Road, on my way to and from Jericho Beach where I swam. I didn't see many groups of people there picnicking or drinking, so I don't think it was well used as a drinking zone. People in the immediate area generally have private areas to drink and socialize. I did see a lot of off leash dogs so it's become a defacto off leash dog park. I imagine there are a lot more people drinking on the beach below Volunteer park as I see many people drinking on the foreshore beaches near there.
Since Volunteer Park/Tatlow are to become a natural rewilded daylighted stream area in the near future this is not a good choice as a permanent drinking location.
