Today, the Park Board released a statement that they hear the public and are making changes. (See link, below) They have shaved off six weeks so that the pay period is now reduced to three and half months. I am heartened that they are listening, but I am not really satisfied that this adjustment makes that much of a difference. There will still be pay parking for the greater part of the season and a visitor staying for, say, just two hours and ten minutes will need to fork out $10.50. That's not a small amount for many people. So I will respond to this move and report back...
