The artwork in Van Mildert depicting the heron as a majestic and regal creature is an insult to the ducks, rabbits, otters and moorhens who have suffered violence and suffering thanks to this feathered scum. We demand all heron related artwork is removed from Van Mildert as a mark of respect to the other wildlife of Mildert. Of particular urgency is the artwork in the dining hall. After having watched a heron devour a duckling a week ago, having the perpetrator of this child murder stare at me whilst I eat is extremely unsettling.
