Alien Swarm was quickly forgotten because it did not receive any content updates. It started with only one official campaign and has stayed that way ever since. Alien Swarm was made to encourage modding being open-source, free, and shipped with the Source SDK, but nothing major has happened, and the game died. I believe Alien Swarm deserves a second change! Therefore, it should receive Workshop-support like many other games. Workshop makes modding a game easy for the end-user, and it’s probably the best way to centralize and streamline the modding. You’ve probably played the game too and thought it was pretty cool. Only to be heartbroken by the lack of content.

This is for a new and better Alien Swarm! Alien Swarm deserved to be more than -tools and a modding-guideline!
