VA Healthcare Reform

VA Healthcare Reform
The Issue
Men and women fight each day. In regards to the simplest things as just getting out of bed, doing mundane but necessary tasks around the home if they have one, going to work, or even financial making ends meet for bills, affording groceries, pet food etc.
What about the men and women who have fought for our country, our rights as humans regardless of age, sex, religion, race, orientation to only end up on the streets homeless, cold, hungry, or even critically ill/injured needing medical attention but can not get in a timely fashion?
The VA healthcare system, housing, benefits and so much more is a broken system in which needs to be reformed. I'm watching a close friend suffer financially and physically after delayed VA healthcare. This person now has cancer just before their wedding in which could have been caught early with less expense. This person is someone who fought for us and is a local advocate, taking food donations and clothing for children, adults and is always speaking up for equality rights in various topics, a farmer etc. Now they are worrying about how many people to remove from wedding invitations and backlash from that, how they are going to pay bills, medical care costs of surgery and treatment, keep a strong face for their fiancé as she is trying to help as much as possible. So why can't we? Why can't we help and do better for those who have fought so hard for us? Fight for them as the last thing they should be doing is fighting for their own basic human rights they did for us-health and care, a roof over their heads, food to eat and drink. They deserve better as those men and women are the ones we should be thanking each and every day. Please write to elected officials to fight for them to reform the VA healthcare and benefits so that no soldier has to.
Please sign and share to get this seen now! If you are able to donate to ease some financial stress I know they would appreciate it so much, and if you can’t donate general love, care and positivity sent their way is always welcome.
