Hello, Dear Extended World Family,

I am moved to realize that in such a short time there have been 60 000 signatures from the world's people elevating my voice for the reunion with my son.

I thank all of you for the many gifts of money and time for helping share the news about my son. The practice of separating Black families by keeping them in jails, on death row, and sometimes unlawfully taking their lives is not news to many Black US families. The separation from my son is the Utah government's continuation of that practice to tear up non-white migrant families.

No good government behaves in this way.

But I know the good people in the world helping me through the trauma of being separated from my son. To honor this immeasurable gift of life you've given me, I wish to say thank you in a program of songs interlaced with African cultural stories.  Here is a small schedule for the event:
