USP Lee Penitentiary houses over 1,440 inmates. This prison is horrible they do whatever they want to our loved ones. Now I understand the inmates committed some sort of crime, but it doesn’t give them a right to treat these prisoners like animals!  

They are human beings! The food is terrible, not enough to fill a toddlers belly never mind a grown man’s stomach, they haven’t been able to have physical contact since covid and now that’s it’s lifted they still aren’t allowed to have physical contact! As human beings we need human contact with out it we become disconnected, angry, depressed. After long periods of no contact we become unresponsive to human touch! We ALL NEED SOME SORT OF PHYSICAL CONTACT!

These inmates go on lock down for weeks at a time, and as soon as the are let out of lock they go right back in, stuck in a cell with out talking to their wives, mothers, children anyone! They sit there without any contact! The contact we all need as human beings!

The actions of one person can cause a entire unit and in some cases the entire prison to go on lockdown! Why? Can the prison administration answer this questions no because they never answer anything not even the phones!

Now on top of all this the prison has taken even more of the contact away from them! They were allowed to make calls as many as they needed as well as the emails. Now they are limited to 500 emails and 2 calls per day this is ridiculous!!! Now they have to choose on who to call! How is this right? 

The inmates request is not being heard, visiting forms being rejected or mysteriously disappear, commissary being taken away because of ridiculous violations, and or there just is no stock in the store! TV’s being taken away! These inmates aren’t allowed to eat or drink during the visits with their families, but the guards sit there eating subs and sandwiches in front of them! 

There is roughly 120-124 inmates to a unit 6 phones ( if they all work) and they wonder why fights break out they need more phones installed and more computers maybe if they had more of these items there would not be so many fights!!! Now they are turning off the phones at 6-630pm turning them off while they are on the phones with their wives, children, siblings, parents 

They are suppose to be reforming these men to make them productive and responsible individuals when they get out into society. They are tearing these men down mentally!! Tearing families apart how is this fair? 

I am hoping this petition goes around the world these conditions need to change! Theses inmates need some kind of hope! I am only one woman with one voice but it’s a loud one! My husband is who I am am fighting for  and for all the other wives, children and inmates as well!! Please sign and help and pass this around to everyone you know! Thank you and GOD BLESS
