We strongly believe that there are students who wouldn't want the authority to extend the semester. There is another petition asking for USM to extend the semester due to certain reasons. Although online classes do have certain disadvantages, we, as students can be more considerate.

USM is trying its best to provide us the best solution. 

One of the reasons online classes are being rejected by some students is they are unable to afford an internet connection. We are aware that USM does provide internet connection within the campus and hostel area. We also believe it shouldn't be a problem for students to connect to USMSecure and attend online classes. 

There are also students who aren't good with online classes. In the very situation, we believe we should at least do our best to adapt to online learning. This is a chance for us to learn how to learn in 2020. We should not limit ourselves. 

Lastly, we would like to ask for more understanding from students. USM is really doing its best for the students.
