Other than me being a animal rights activist, they are torturing these animals. They lock them in the small gestation cages and after the piglet is a week old they take it away from its mother, impregnate the mother again and stick her back in a gestation cage. This is a sick and continuous circle that continues for a average of 12 years, after that the mothers are slaughtered and fed to us. It needs to be made illegal in the US like it will be in Europe next year.
